Bio

Hannah Schneider is a sex and dating staff writer at Elite Daily, where she writes about anything from fun date ideas to debunking myths you might have about sexual health. She particularly loves to interview sex therapists and therapists about concepts people typically feel shame about. Dating and sex are ripe with topics folks may not be fully educated on, or naturally know how to navigate, and she loves getting the chance to investigate some of the very things she finds difficult in her own dating life. In addition to dating and sex, she also loves to write about body positivity, fat positivity, sexuality, LGBTQ+ experiences, gender, fashion, pop culture, holiday gifting, and more. Hannah’s work has also appeared in Them. and GO Mag, Entropy Magazine, and Glass Poetry Press. She once mentioned in an article that Betty Who was one of her favorite artists to listen to after a breakup and then Betty's team reached out for an interview and basically made Hannah's entire life. She received her bachelor’s degree in public communication and creative writing from Ball State University. When Hannah is not furiously typing about the next dating trend or astrology prediction and guzzling seltzer, she is probably with friends being goofy or in the gym picking up heavy things and putting them back down. She is also a stand-up comic and poet, having performed at Open Flame in Brooklyn and hosted poetry readings for The Phluid Project and The Wing. She also co-hosted a mini-series podcast titled, "Queerdom" with Seth Kaempfer on Itunes.
