Hayley Schueneman is BDG’s Senior Newsletter Editor. She works closely with the Lifestyle editorial teams as well as the marketing & sales teams. She currently writes and curates the daily newsletters for Bustle, Elite Daily, and NYLON. She also writes a monthly column for Bustle called The Friendship Files. When prompted, she will weigh in on the latest controversial fashion trends and whatever TikTok is telling us is cool.
She previously worked at New York Magazine's The Cut as a Beauty Writer, and was a headline contributor for the satirical feminist website Reductress. She also has a decade of marketing and communications experience in the higher education and nonprofit sectors. She studied abroad for her entire junior year of college in Besançon, France, and has never shut up about it. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and French from Knox College in 2012.
When Hayley’s not working, she's most likely taking her dog Tilly on a long walk while listening to an audiobook at 1.4x speed. You can count on her to incorporate 30 Rock quotes into regular conversation, crush it at bar trivia, and cook as many different recipes as she can.
