Jordan is a DC-based lifestyle writer at Bustle, where she writes about health, mental health, relationships, and zodiac signs. She also writes about puppies and weddings every so often. Jordan's work has also appeared in The Atlantic and Elite Daily. She's previously worked at CNN and The Atlantic. In addition to journalism, Jordan writes poetry, and just earned her MFA in creative writing from American University, where she received the Myra Sklarew Award for her thesis. Her poetry has appeared in Mississippi Review, Cosmonauts Avenue, and elsewhere. When Jordan isn't writing, she's baking elaborate cakes for her friends based on their personalities or making collage artwork from scraps she finds all over the place.
