Disney+ Is Adding Jennifer's Body, Wicked, & More Movies This Month

Spooky season may still be a month away, but Disney+ is serving up your autumn chills a little early this September by adding some witchy movies and shows to its library, including a spellbinding new season of American Horror Story, the fantastical musical Wicked, and some classic Halloween-marathon fare in Jennifer’s Body, Coraline, and ParaNorman. But it’s not all just doom and gloom. The streamer is also debuting new seasons of original comedies, sci-fi hits, and some seriously twist-y reality TV.

For new TV this September, one of the buzziest projects coming to Hulu and Disney+ via the streaming bundle is the 13th season of American Horror Story, which is reuniting the fan-favorite witches of Season 3’s Coven installment for a long-awaited return to magical mischief. There’s also the second season of Glen Powell’s football comedy Chad Powers, and the buzzed-about new season of Dancing with the Stars. The full Season 35 cast for the dance competition has been slowly unveiled in recent weeks, with standout participants including Julia Stiles, Ciara Miller, Tyler Cameron, and Maura Higgins.

In the movies department, along with the spooky pre-October fare already mentioned, Disney+ is launching subscribers into the Spider-verse by adding two of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man flicks, as well as the in-universe parallel Kraven the Hunter. Sci-fi fans can also stream The Mandalorian and Grogu for the first time, or you can lose yourself in glitzy glamor with semi-recent throwbacks like Burlesque, Babylon, or Amsterdam.
