It's hard to believe, but it's been almost a month since Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in a Paris hotel room.

Since her traumatic experience, the 36-year-old has kept a low profile, attempting to stay as far away from cameras and the public eye as humanly possible.

Earlier this week, though, photos of Kim Kardashian getting ice cream with her best friend, Jonathan Cheban, surfaced across the internet, and the images are incredibly upsetting.

Kim K does not look OK, and it's not just her family members who are concerned for her well-being.

Kardashian has millions of fans around the world, and all they've seen of Kim since the harrowing events in Paris are paparazzi pics of her in sweatshirts, not looking anything like her normal self.

The big question now is, when will Kim Kardashian return to social media?

Kim's mom, Kris Jenner, has kept pretty quiet about her daughter's plans to get back into the spotlight and communicate with her followers, but her best friend, Jonathan Cheban, offered up some key insight on whether or not Kardashian will return to social media at any time in the near future.

When questioned about his friend's social media hiatus, Jonathan Cheban said,

I'm looking out for it, but I doubt it. I don't think so.

Damn. So, is this an indefinite social media split? Like, will Kim Kardashian be back in a few months? A few years? EVER?

Obviously, this latest news about Kim K's break from the public spotlight is extremely concerning to everyone who cares about the star's health.

No one can know for certain what's going on inside Kim's head, but I can only imagine what it would be like to plead for my life, not knowing if I'm going to be able to see my family and friends ever again.

Hopefully, Cheban is wrong about his best friend, and we'll see Kim Kardashian back on social media and in the public eye sooner rather than later.
