Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas Are Engaged & We're Freaking Out
It looks like the middle Jo Bro has some exciting news. Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are engaged, according to the Instagram photo the DNCE singer posted on Oct. 15. The shot featured their hands — and Turner's gorgeous ring — while the caption read, "She said yes," so of course everyone lost their cool.
To add to fans' excitement, Turner responded with an Instagram post of her own — the same photo with the caption, "I said yes." It's happening, folks, and there's no better confirmation than from the two love birds themselves. It's officially time to celebrate.
Want to know who else is getting in on the fun? Nick and Kevin Jonas. In response to the happy news, Nick tweeted the now famous photo the couple shared and wrote, "Ahh! Congratulations to my brother... and sister in law to be on your engagement. I love you both so much. @joejonas @SophieT." Though Kevin hasn't posted anything on Twitter, he did write "Yeah!!!!!!!" in response to his baby bro sharing the news on Instagram. Likewise, Nick wrote, "YES!!!"
As the relationship started heating up, the Game of Thrones actress originally was relatively tight lipped about her new fella — when she wasn't busy putting her lips to work. Now it's all out in the open. There's no sense hiding because it's official.

That is quite the rock, Sansa. Just several months ago at the Golden Globes, Turner decided to tease reporters about her new relationship (because obviously that gets everyone in a tizzy). When asked about Jonas, Turner told Mario Lopez, "Well, I'm not saying anything. I'm very happy. I don't know who you're talking about, really." Oh sure you don't.
Then, as per usual, the young star was questioned about her outfit for the evening, to which she said, "This is Louis Vuitton by Nicolas Ghesquière, head to toe basically. And the engagement ring there isn't an engagement ring." Woah nelly, missy — no one ever said the word engagement or fiancé. Was the couple beginning to talk marriage at that point?
Well, Turner and Jonas have been together longer than fans might think... even though their love can be considered a bit of a whirlwind. The pair was first seen in November 2016, causing major waves with a large helping of PDA. A bystander told People about their canoodling one year ago and said,
They were really close together. I didn't look very often because I was seated more in front of the room. The two or three times I was watching they were kissing. She was all smiley and he looked really sweet. They seemed pretty comfortable. That's what surprised me.
Things progressed from there, from Turner giving flirty little hints about her new love at award shows, to meeting the Jonas family over the summer... and showing even more PDA. While at a Kings of Leon performance earlier this year, a concertgoer told US Weekly,
Joe and Sophie arrived together before the show started ... He had his arm around her as they walked in, and then he was holding her before the show. Joe and Sophie kissed a few times and were talking and drinking soda.
Then, there was that time Turner sported a little something else on her hand. No, it was not engagement ring, it was another sign of the affection between the two: a NSFW note that read, "Joe gives me da good good." Goodness gracious Sansa, that is quite the statement... but certainly can't live up to that beautiful ring you just received.
