Kim Kardashian Returns To Social Media With A Facebook Post About 'Downtime'

It's been quite some time since we last saw Kim Kardashian pop up on our news feeds and timelines.

Ever since she experienced that traumatic robbery in Paris in early October, the 36-year-old reality TV star and businesswoman is keeping a low profile away from the public eye.

She's been spotted around Los Angeles several times since returning from Paris and New York City, but she's almost unrecognizable. She even celebrated her own birthday in silence.

As a matter of fact, Kanye West had to remind everyone that it was Kim's birthday with a heartwarming tribute video he put together for her.

To top it all off, filming for "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" was postponed for a couple of weeks as a result of the robbery. Kim just hasn't been feeling this whole "famous" thing.

Perhaps the biggest shocker was that she disappeared from social media altogether. While she didn't go so far as to delete her Instagram account like Justin Bieber did, she certainly didn't post on her social media accounts -- UNTIL NOW.

That's right, for the first time since the robbery, Kim Kardashian has published a social media post, and fans everywhere are breathing a sigh of relief.

The post simply reads,

Downtime #LumeeCollab

A photo of Kim using her handy-dandy selfie machine (smartphone) is attached.

Behold Kim Kardashian's first social media post since the robbery.

Another post published after her "downtime" pic was about Halloween necessities.

The third post? Classic home videos from past Halloweens with the Kardashians.

Up until Halloween day, this was the last post on Kim's Facebook. It was posted the same day as the robbery.

But she's back now!

Take that, stupid robbers. You thought you could slow down the Kim Kardashian train?! I think NOT.

The post, which was promoting LuMee phone cases, was published on Kim's official Facebook account. While it's not the intimate, personal post most of her loyal followers were probably hoping for, it's still good to see that her brand is alive.

In addition to resurfacing on Facebook, Kim's assistant took to her official website to ensure fans that Kim would still be providing them with tons of content from her "closest friends" and family, despite taking some time off.
