Throughout her time in the White House, first lady Michelle Obama has spent a considerable amount of time campaigning for women's rights. Of particular interest to FLOTUS is accessibility to education — or rather, how startlingly inaccessible a proper education is for girls in many parts of the world.

With that, Mrs. Obama created Let Girls Learn, an initiative that aims to eliminate the various “barriers” preventing girls from getting the education they deserve. All in all, the organization hopes to give approximately 62 million girls in 35 countries a proper education.

To raise money for the charity, Michelle Obama recently recruited a handful of female artists, including Zendaya, Kelly Clarkson and Missy Elliot to sing a soundtrack for the Let Girls Learn Fund called "This Is For My Girls." (Michelle Obama, as you may remember, knows a thing or two about the power of the lady-power playlist.)

Because all of the artists waived their typical royalties and fees, 100 percent of proceeds from sales will be donated to the Let Girls Learn Fund.

You can listen to the collaboration here before it hits iTunes at midnight, and hear it live during the “This Is For My Girls” panel with Michelle Obama this Wednesday at 12 pm at SXSW or streaming live at Makers.com.
