To say the X Games is a wild place would be putting it lightly.
For one week out of the year, Aspen, Colorado, a town of only 6,800 people, is inundated with action sports fans who come to watch their favorite athletes hurl themselves off jumps, halfpipes and mountainsides.
But beyond the action-packed sports, the X Games also brings music fans, video gamers and mountain lovers together.
Not sure what that looks like? Check out these 19 photos that prove the X Games is one magical event.
