You know what my absolute favorite part of being a woman is?
Being afraid to reject men because there's a chance they might freak out on me and get scary!
JK, that sucks, and I hate it. And yet it happens all the time.
Unfortunately, this Reddit user recently experienced that brand of male entitlement in the form of not one, not two, but 19 text messages.
Basically, some dude wanted her to come over, she said no and then this guy proceeded to go on a massive text rant all about what a paranoid bitch she was.
It's kind of painful to read, but let's dive in. I'm going to call them Dude and Girl, for clarity. Don't ask me where I got the names, these things just come to me.
So, Dude hits Girl up. Girl, who presumably barely knows this guy, lets Dude know he's being creepy.
Dude does not seem to understand what "no" means and continues to try to set up a time and place to meet.
Then, and this is the most hilarious part to me, Dude insists he in fact does know "what no means hoe." And yet, he KEEPS TEXTING HER.
Yeah, Dude, you're doing a really great job of proving you're not a creep here. Well done.
Amazingly, somehow Dude convinces himself this rejection is all just because Girl isn't mature enough for him.
Despite the fact Dude assures Girl there are plenty of people who DO want to hang out with him, he starts begging Girl to respond.
Honestly, now I'm just starting to get sad for Dude.
Dude literally feels so insecure he sends Girl a picture, as proof he has been in the presence of the female population before.
Thankfully, that's the end. I don't think I could take any more of that.
Good luck with that whole "getting women to not think you're terrible" thing, Dude. I wouldn't hold your breath, though.
