Every day with your best friend is like a holiday, but spending an actual holiday with your bestie can be a memory you'll never want to forget. Your BFF is practically family, so it just makes sense that you would want to share this special time of year with her, and you can make this Christmas an epic one to remember by doing all of the best holiday activities you can think of. It's not all about opening presents, there are so many things to do on Christmas with your best friend. There's ice skating, baking cookies, Christmas lights, and so much more. Just like Santa, you should make a list of the perfect holiday bucket list of all the festive activities you can think of, check it twice, and then cross everything off of it.

You could always copy Buddy the Elf's ambitious list from Elf of making snow angels for two hours, ice skating, eating a whole roll of Toll House cookie dough, and then snuggling. Or, you can make your own. It's like a choose your own Christmas adventure when looking at these eight holiday activities you could be doing. Whatever you and your bestie decide to do, I hope you have one epic Christmas that you'll never forget.

1Take A Stroll In The Neighborhood Looking At Lights

Seriously, what would Christmas be without the lights? All the colors everywhere give an extra magical glow to the winter season, and puts everyone in the holly jolly spirit. You and your bestie can take a stroll around the neighborhood admiring the Christmas decorations. Bring some homemade hot chocolate to sip on as you walk around to give this adventure an extra cozy kick.

2Marathon Your Favorite Holiday Classics

Build a super cozy blanket fort, and marathon your favorite Christmas classics like Elf, Home Alone, and Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas. There's too many to choose from which is why a marathon is necessary. You can even prepare some tasty snacks like holiday popcorn, cookies, and eggnog.

3Bake Cookies For Santa

Baking and decorating cookies for Santa is a Christmastime activity that doesn't have to end as you get older. The only thing that changes is now, you get to eat all the cookies for yourself. Get creative with a simple roll of sugar cookie dough by adding in whatever extra ingredients you want like chocolate chips, marshmallows, or sprinkles.

4Playing In The Snow

If you live where there is a white Christmas, you and your BFF can go outside and play in the snow. Make snow angels, find a hill to slide down, start a snowball fight, and make your very own Frosty the snowman. You're never too old to play in the snow, and when you come back in, treat yo' self to a nice cup of hot chocolate.

5Ice Skating

Even if you fall while ice skating, you know you have your BFF right there to pick you up off the ice. She may laugh at your pants now being wet, but you're glad she's there. Ice skating is such a fun activity that even us horrible skaters can totally enjoy it. Don't forget to take all the boomerangs you can of you both spinning, or at least attempting to spin.

6Dancing It Out To Your Favorite Christmas Songs

As Buddy the Elf once said, "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear." He's not wrong. You and your bestie can throw on a playlist of all your favorite holiday songs like "All I Want For Christmas" by Mariah Carey and "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" by *NSYNC. Sing as loud as you can while dancing it out.

7Make A Gingerbread House

You can find some gingerbread house kits at any store like Michaels. You and your bestie can have a competition to see who can design the best house. It doesn't matter who wins, because you'll both be winners when you're eating all of that sugar later.

8Make Some Eggnog

Eggnog is the drink of the season. Make yourselves some homemade eggnog, and spice it up (if you're 21 and over) with some of your favorite holiday spirits. If eggnog isn't your thing, you can always just make your own hot chocolate. You can't go wrong sipping on a warm holiday drink while hanging with your BFF.
