22 Things You'll Need To Survive The Blizzard This Weekend

Remember when it was warm AF in the middle of December, and we all thought we were just skipping the whole winter thing this year?

Well played, Mother Nature, well played.

It's clear the cold weather is here to stay, and it seems like it's making up for lost time because the chilling temps have been downright brutal.

Not to mention, we're all about to be buried up to our eyeballs in snow.

That's right. If you've been following the latest weather reports, you probably heard the East Coast is about to get slammed with the biggest blizzard of the season.

But, don't worry, there's no need to panic... as long as you're prepared, that is.

If you're going to get through snowmageddon like a true snow-bunny boss, there are a few things you might want to have on hand.

Take a look at the pictures below to see some things you don't want to be snowed in without.

When it comes to snow-day essentials, Netflix is obviously a no-brainer.

And you'll probably want a location-based dating app...

...to help you find someone in close proximity to ~chill~ with, of course.

Plus, some romantic candles to complement the soft glow of your laptop screen and set the mood.

If you're not into sharing your couch with another human, a dog also makes a great cuddle companion...

...and if you don't happen to have your own pup, don't worry, there's an app for that.

Yes, "Netflix and chill snacks" is an equally acceptable alternative, so you should probably stock up on munchies.

You'll need a big blanket to keep you cozy AF while you re-watch all the episodes of "Making A Murderer."

But if being a sedentary blanket burrito isn't really your thing, you might want to invest in a dope fleece onesie...

...and some badass heated slippers to keep your tootsies warm on those long, cold walks to the fridge. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

If you don't have a fireplace, you can fake it 'til you make it with a couple of blazing screensavers...

...or get a space heater to stay nice and toasty.

Hot cocoa is obviously a must...

...and if you're going to be stuck in the house all day, you might as well spike that sh*t.

Plus, you'll probably want to have some sort of comfort food containing lots of warm, gooey cheese.

If you're trying to be healthy and stick to your New Year's resolutions, you can sip on a hot cup of herbal tea while you whip up a healthy Crock-Pot recipe.

It's a good idea to have a few novels on hand for when you finally run out of old TV shows to watch on your laptop...

...or a hilarious adult coloring book to keep you occupied while you curse the storm.

If you're brave enough to go outside and build a snowman, you'll want some heavy-duty snow gear to keep out the cold...

Or you can embrace the winter weather without freezing your ass off in a classic blanket fort...

...and channel your inner Queen Elsa by using these fuzzy spheres to have an epic indoor snowball fight.

Last but not least, you're going to want to find one of these babes to dig you out once the storm is over because, let's face it, watching a sexy dude shovel your driveway sounds a lot more fun than doing it yourself.
