These 'Inception Doughnuts' Are Almost Too Mind-Blowing

There's no shortage of seriously mind-blowing snack inventions out there.

Lately, a lot of clever foodies have been making our mouthwatering dreams come true by whipping up some hybrid eats that are basically an edible form of inception. First, Australia gave us the gift of giant cannolis gloriously stuffed with a sh*t load of mini cannolis. Then, Brooklyn blessed the world with a bougie pie of pizza served up in delectable doughy pizza box.

Now, there's a new frankenfood committing some delicious food-on-food crime. Feast your eyes on the delightful "Inception Doughnut."

That's right. Doughnuts covered in more doughnuts are now a real thing, and this might just be the best thing that's ever happened to mind-bending breakfast snacks.

This heavenly hybrid food hails from The Cinnamon Snail and features a raspberry-filled doughnut, topped with smaller doughnut sugar cookies, which are then covered in even smaller doughnuts made out of Frosted Cheerios. Apparently, the idea for this tasty treat all came to fruition after The Cinnamon Snail's owner Adam Sobel watched the movie "Inception," and he decided to apply this dreamy concept to his sweet snacks.

If you're looking to get your hands on one of these bad boys, you can score an inception doughnut for $7 at The Cinnamon Snail's shop located within The Pennsy food hall in New York City.

Take a look at the pictures below to see this insane doughnut:
