Fresh off his time on The Traitors press circuit, Rob Rausch is ready to relax. In Season 4 of Peacock’s hit reality competition show, the former Love Island USA star ended up winning the prize all for himself after defeating every other Faithful and Traitor in the castle. However, the 27-year-old snake wrangler from Alabama hasn’t seen any of the $220,800 prize money just yet. Luckily, he says, he doesn’t need it right away.

“I’m not trying to buy anything,” Rausch tells Elite Daily. His only big postshow purchase was a Hermès Birkin bag for Maura Higgins after she helped him reach the end of the game with their alliance. “I’m assuming they have to [give me the money], right? So, I’ll get it eventually.”

In the meantime, he’s got plenty of other things to focus on, like his clothing line, Creek Rat, and his latest collab with Crown Royal on a new bag and capsule collection with camo gear brand Realtree. “It was an easy partnership to say yes to,” says Rausch. “Crown Royal fits right into my lifestyle, because I enjoy a little Crown Royal lemonade during a poker night with the boys or a nice bonfire, and I’m a big fan of camo and being outdoors.” The joint merch collection, which launches April 2, includes a camo tee, baseball cap, and Rausch’s favorite, a hoodie.

After a day spent playing cornhole and fishing at Realtree Farms in Georgia, Rausch dishes on everything from his favorite outdoor activity to which reality show he’d be down to try next.

Elite Daily: What has been the biggest change in your life since being on The Traitors?

Rob Rausch: I haven’t been home as much as I’d like to be, because I’ve been traveling a lot more. It’s a good problem to have, and I’m grateful for the opportunities.

ED: What’s the biggest misconception about being on The Traitors that you think fans should know?

RR: It seems like it’s not fun, a little dramatic, hard, and emotional. It is all of those things, but it’s also just a blast. I made amazing friends that I hope I keep for a long time.

I never signed up to do any of these shows. I was asked to do them, which I’m grateful for.

ED: Which other reality show would you want to do next?

RR: This was never really my dream. I never signed up to do any of these shows. I was asked to do them, which I’m grateful for. It’s been great, but I don’t watch reality TV. The only thing I have watched is Survivor. Maybe I could do that one day.

ED: What’s an outdoor activity that you want to do with Lisa Rinna?

RR: I’d love to take Lisa to catch snakes. That would be so funny. She said she’d do it.

ED: If Lisa were a snake, which snake would she be?

RR: Emerald tree boa. They’re very stoic, but they’re also beautiful and powerful.

ED: What snake do you think Maura would be?

RR: Rainbow boa. They’re pretty, iridescent, and strong.

ED: What’s something you never leave the house without?

RR: My phone, my car keys, my Realtree Camo.

ED: I know you’re a Beabadoobee fan. What’s your favorite song?

RR: It changes. Lately, I’ve been listening to “Spacing Out” the most.

ED: Who was your first celebrity crush?

RR: The evil girl from Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas. It’s about a pirate and he turns good, but there’s an evil goddess, and I loved her.

I saw a clip of Nick Offerman talking about Traitors. He was talking about strategy, and he was like, ‘[Rob’s] killing it.’

ED: What’s been your biggest “pinch me” moment so far?

RR: I’m a really big fan of Parks and Recreation, and I saw a clip of Nick Offerman talking about Traitors. He was talking about strategy, and he was like, “[Rob’s] killing it.” Ron Swanson is my favorite character, so that was sick.

ED: What are you manifesting for yourself next?

RR: Happiness and contentment in myself and my life. My main aspiration is just to be happy, have a meaningful life, and be proud of what I do.
