After a court ruling last week forcing Kesha to remain under contract with Sony and continue working with the man who allegedly sexually abused her, many celebrities came forward to voice their support of the pop star.

But apparently, there's something more important than ladies supporting ladies in the face of gross sexism and abuse in the music industry: TWITTER FIGHTS!

JK, that's terrible. The most important thing is Sony is getting called out for this injustice, and hopefully, that pressure might help Kesha if she appeals the ruling.

Still, the fact remains there IS some Twitter drama going down. Sunday, Demi Lovato posted a series of tweets supporting Kesha, including a few tweets seemingly critical of Taylor Swift.

Then, Taylor Swift donated $250,000 to Kesha to support her, according to a tweet from Kesha's mom and confirmed by a spokesperson of Taylor's.

In the comments of a Taylor Swift fan Instagram, Demi responded to accusations of shading Taylor. (The posts were since taken down.) She called Taylor out for attempting to "throw money" at the problem, instead of starting a conversation about abuse in the industry. You can see Lovato's comments in one of the screenshots below.

In her comments on Instagram, Demi said,

Not everyone has 250k to just give to people. Would love to but I didn't grow up with money and def haven't made as much as her. At least I speak up about sh*t that's uncomfortable to talk about rather than trying to be politically correct 24/7.

Oof.

Well regardless of the drama, the important thing is Kesha is getting support in a lot of different ways. Both money and dialogue will go a long way, so I say props to both ladies.
