Gigi Hadid & Lizzie McGuire Look Like Twins In New Pics
Gigi Hadid's street style is totally unmatched. This week, Hadid rocked a look that was so Lizzie McGuire, I immediately wanted to call Miranda and Gordo to dish about it. Like, literally, rain or shine she looks amazing. This look, in particular, gave me all the nostalgia vibes.
The 22-year-old model rocked this metallic pink jacket (how cute is that fringe detailing?) and matching pants to a Vogue Eyewear party in NYC, according to Allure.
Hadid collaborated with Vogue Eyewear for her signature frame, and apparently, she's always had a thing for sunglasses. Adorbs, right?
Lizzie McGuire is one of my biggest style icons from the 2000s, and I'm glad Hadid has been inspired, too. For those of you unfamiliar with The Lizzie McGuire Movie (if you lived under a rock), I'll take a minute to explain. Lizzie and the gang take a class trip to Italy. Then, through a series of unexpected events, Lizzie gets to impersonate a pop star.
Seriously, just watch the movie. You'll love it.
Good news, @jeremiahcapz, your prayers have been answered! Hopefully, Hadid has kicked off a trend of Lizzie-approved looks.
When I first saw Hadid's outfit, I immediately thought of the purple metallic suit, but the green one isn't far off either.
Since you're reading this, I'm assuming you loved Lizzie McGuire as much as I did, so let's reflect back together on some of the best looks. I hope to see Gigi Hadid rock all of the following outfits in the future.
Her Mastery Of Clips And Crimping
14-year-old me and present me are wondering how she got her hair like that.
Miranda's Bold Looks
Everyone was or had their Miranda. Colorful and bold, this girl worked it!
Casual Looks For School
Remember when she bought these really expensive jeans? She was planning on returning them, but then had a slushie spilled on her. Lizzie learned a valuable lesson, that fashion is more important than budgeting. That was the lesson, right?
I can't express how happy I am that these awesome looks are starting to resurface again. This is what dreams are made of.
