Adele broke the Grammys on February 12 — literally and metaphorically.

She destroyed the stage multiple times with her angelic voice and presence, so it certainly was a night to remember in my book.

The most emotional part of the night, however, was the very end when Adele beat out Beyoncé for Album of the Year.

Yup, 25 took home the gold over Lemonade, which left the audience pretty stunned.

Adele made it clear throughout her entire acceptance speech the award belonged to Queen Bey.

She praised the "Formation" singer and said,

I can't possibly accept this award, and I'm very humbled and I'm very grateful and gracious, but my artist of my life is Beyoncé and this album for me, the Lemonade album, is just so monumental — Beyoncé, so monumental, and so well-thought out and so beautiful and soul-bearing and we all got to see another side to you that you don't always let us see, and we appreciate that and all us artists here adore you. You are our light and the way you make me and my friends feel, the way you make my black friends feel is empowering, and you make them stand up for themselves and I love you, I always have and I always will.

Ugh, brings a tear to my eye. Adele, you are so classy. And Bey, you are so inspiring.

According to Us Weekly, Adele apparently took things to the next level by snapping her Grammy in half to share with Bey.

Yeah, she literally broke the thing. The girl ain't messing around.

That's BFF goals, yo. ADELE AND BEY FOR LIFE.

As much as I loved watching Adele destroy her award to honor Beyoncé, Jay Z's face was actually the best part of the whole thing.

He literally pulled a Damien from "Mean Girls."

IT'S OK, JAY Z. DO NOT BE SCARED. ADELE'S GOT YOU, BOO.

Giphy

Ugh! Kills me.

Jay Z, no judgement. You were basically all of us in that moment.

Congrats to Adele and Bey on a successful night. You both are winners in my heart.
