Corinne Gives Rachel Advice On 'Bachelorette' Premiere And It's Actually Useful

Last season of The Bachelor was, in my brutal yet humble opinion, a complete snooze fest of garbage.

Nick Viall was far from the most likable Bachelor, which made for a boring season. However, because of Nick's dumpster personality, the female contestants on his season seemingly became genuine friends, because what's the point of fighting over a prize that's not really worth having?

Too harsh? Maybe. Too many rhetorical questions? Never.

Now, it's Rachel Lindsay's turn; and she is a sparkling ray of educated and articulate sunshine who viewers and contestants will fall head over heels for.

Of course, Nick's season had plenty of organic and totally not forced (!) drama to make up for his consistent lack of basic word enunciation, and it was mostly centered around Corinne Olympios.

However, the contrived drama from last season doesn't seem to have had any effect on the girls, who seem like legitimate friends.

On tonight's season premiere of Rachel's season of The Bachelorette, Rachel sat down with her fellow past Bachelor contestants, including fan favorites Corinne, Raven, and Alexis.

The girls gave Rachel their best "we've been here before" advice before Rachel headed to the mansion.

Corinne gave Rachel some sound, emotionally intelligent, words of wisdom. She told the new Bachelorette,

I feel like you need to totally let your feelings be in control of all of this... and give them all a chance to let your feelings be like 'yep' or 'nope'!

Additionally, Raven and Rachel shared an emotional moment. Rachel began by saying before she went on her one-on-one date, Raven gave her advice that changed her perspective.

Before meeting the men on her season, Rachel, holding back tears, recounted this moment with Raven and said,

Your advice to me was, 'Rachel you just have to let yourself fall.' That was a turning point for me, that's when I started to be open and vulnerable… you get me!

Raven responded with a heartfelt sentiment,

One reason why you connected with all of us is even though we're all so different because you pulled the best out of all of us… I hope someone goes hard for you.
