In an apparent attempt to prove American athletes are a bunch of cheaters, a group of Russian hackers reportedly managed to get their hands on the confidential medical records of Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles, tennis star Serena Williams and others.

The hackers, who reportedly go by the name Fancy Bear  -- What's up with Russians and bears? -- hacked into the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) database and reportedly posted the drug records of Serena Williams, Simone Biles, Venus Williams and Elena Delle Donne on their website.

So, what did Fancy Bear find?

Well, it appears American heroes Serena Williams and Simone Biles do in fact take drugs, some of which are apparently on the banned substance list, but any drugs they've used have fallen under the therapeutic-use exemption category.

Sorry, Russian hackers, our best and brightest athletes didn't cheat. You may recall reading about the state-run doping scandal involving many of Russia's athletes at the beginning of the 2016 Summer Olympic games in Rio, although a full Russian ban never actually took place at the Olympics.

If you're curious, Serena Williams has reportedly tested positive for oxycodone, prednisone, methylprednisolone and hydromorphone.

Simone Biles has reportedly tested positive for Ritalin.

Better luck next time, Fancy Bear.
