Earlier today, the public became aware of an incident involving the Lakers' D'Angelo Russell and Nick Young.

What happened?

According to reports, Russell is being shunned by his Laker teammates for allegedly secretly recording a conversation he had with Young -- who's set to marry pop star Iggy Azalea -- in which the two talk about getting with women.

ESPN reports Russell is being isolated by the team, and he was forced to eat alone during team meals. And, even though it's alleged Russell shot the video of Young months ago, the effects are very much being felt today.

Fans, basketball analysts and former players are all weighing in on the Russell-Young situation, but no one has delivered a hotter take than former NBA journeyman Stephen Jackson.

When asked how he would handle the situation if he were in Young's shoes, Jackson didn't mince words, saying,

Snitches get stitches, man. Old rule. Snitches get stitches. You don't expect that from your teammate. It's a new damn basketball I don't understand. It's supposed to be a brotherhood. In the brotherhood, it doesn't go down.

Now, it looks like D'Angelo Russell's days in Los Angeles could be coming to an end.

Everyone saw Jackson's comments, which appear to suggest this type of sh*t would never go down in his day, on ESPN.

What a wild week it's been for some NBA stars.
