This NFL Quarterback Dropped 20 Pounds After His Dad Gave Him One Obvious Tip

Around this time last year, photos surfaced of what appeared to be a pretty flabby Jameis Winston.

The Tampa Bay Bucs quarterback didn't appear to be lacking in arm strength last summer, but the obvious thought was he could certainly stand to lose a few pounds.

By the looks of things, Jameis Winston has shed more than a little belly fat before the start of the 2016 season.

As you can see in the above photo, the difference between chubby Jameis and lean Jameis is night and day. This dude looks downright chiseled, which is bad news for the rest of the NFL.

Like I said, arm strength has never been the issue for the Bucs QB, but mobility is another story. Now, it appears he'll have an easier time looking more like Cam Newton and less like Jared Lorenzen.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Apparently, Winston has dropped 20 pounds since last year, and the burning question on everyone's mind is, how? It appears Papa Winston is behind his son's drastic change.

120 Sports reports Jameis' dad told his son to stop eating "potato chips and salty carbs," which has led to the skinny quarterback you now see.

Look at that. Cutting out unhealthy food actually helps you lose weight. You learn something new every day, right?
