Hulk Hogan Doesn't Get Why Obama Could Use The N-Word But He Can't

by Adam Silvers

On Friday morning, the WWE cut all ties with the legendary Hulk Hogan following reports of a racist rant in which Hogan used the N-word several times.

The National Enquirer published several lines from the alleged audio tape, which has yet to surface, and later that day, Hogan issued an apology for his racist comments.

Going into the weekend, things seemed to be steadying for the former WWE Hall of Famer.

Not only did his daughter, Brooke, write a poem in defense of her father, but Dennis Rodman, Tito Ortiz and others also spoke out on behalf of Hogan.

Lets lend our support to the Hulkster @HulkHogan who most certainly is not a racist @Scottiepippen @MagicJohnson @Shaq @MikeTyson — Dennis Rodman (@dennisrodman) July 24, 2015
@HulkHogan is a real America & far from a racist.Trying 2smear his name is embarrassing.We stand behind U #HulkHogan pic.twitter.com/27ffUtDSDy — Tito Ortiz (@titoortiz) July 24, 2015

But, the Hulkster may have damaged his reputation beyond repair when he retweeted the following tweet from a user who questioned why President Obama could use the N-word, but Hulk Hogan can't.

Sigh.

Bi-racial President Obama uses N word, is applauded and keeps his job. @HulkHogan uses N word, is vilified and loses his job. — Wolfshead Online (@WolfsheadOnline) July 27, 2015

It might be a good idea to stay away from social media for a while, Hulk.
