Hulk Hogan Used The N-Word, And The WWE Wiped Him From The Record Books

by Adam Silvers

The WWE erased its biggest legend, or at least it's trying to.

Before you read any further, listen to this Hulk Hogan clip from a few years back, in which Hogan drops the N-bomb while telling a story.

It was initially thought the controversy stemmed from this 2012 interview.

But, DJ Whoo Kid made it clear Hogan was not being racist in the interview.

nothing racist about that @HulkHogan 2012 interview I did. He was just explaining the usage of the Nword amongst his rapper friends and WWF — DJ Whoo Kid (@DJWhooKid) July 24, 2015

The Hulk's HOF page, as well as any merchandise bearing his name, has been completely removed from the WWE website.

In addition, Hogan is no longer listed as a judge on the "WWE Tough Enough" reality show.

Breaking: Hogan apparently done with WWE. Totally SCRUBBED from http://t.co/RYpbdiX8lC, not listed as Tough Enough judge anymore. — Wade Keller (@thewadekeller) July 24, 2015

Hogan was allegedly talking about the time Booker T dropped the N-bomb in reference to him.

And you know CM Punk had to get in on the Hulk's sudden demise.

@RyanLoco Booker told him he was coming for him. Well, he finally got 'em. — Coach (@CMPunk) July 24, 2015

Also, make what you will of this "True Detective"-esque Hogan tweet from last night.

In the storm I release control,God and his Universe will sail me where he wants me to be,one love. HH — Hulk Hogan (@HulkHogan) July 24, 2015

But, many wonder if there is much more to all of this.

For the @wwe to scrub their biggest legend from everything -- it likely has to be worse than simply the Whookid audio that is already out — Peter Rosenberg (@Rosenbergradio) July 24, 2015

The rumored audio is far more racist and graphic in language and nature.

Update: The WWE officially terminated Hulk Hogan's contract.
