The Top Two Baby Names For Each State Aren't What You'd Expect

The United States Social Security Administration released its list of most popular baby names of 2015 last week, revealing there's about to be a bunch more Emmas and Noahs soon.

But, the popularity of the top 10 baby names for boys and girls varies by region. Ava and William are most popular in the Southeast, while Noah and Sophia rule the Southwest.

So, not every elementary school teacher is going to bombarded by an onslaught of Emmas in 10 years. Some of them will have to deal with oodles of Harpers and Liams, too!

If you want to be on the lookout for what names will be flooding your local school systems in a few years, you can check on the top 100 names by state on the official Social Security website.
