The Banana Peel Challenge Is Taking Over The Internet, And It's Ridiculous

I officially don't understand kids.

I kind of understood the appeal of planking. I sort of get why hoverboards are cool. "Damn, Daniel" I was OK with. Over the past year, I have even developed an appreciation for the Kardashians that borders on a love of the whole family.

What I'm trying to say is I get Internet trends. I see why this stuff is cool, and normally I'm right there with the crowd appreciating it all. I know that makes me sound like the oldest person in the world, but screw it. I'm on fleek, Felicia LOL. Sorry.

Why did I tell you this? Because, for the life of me, I cannot wrap my brain around why the #BananaPeelChallenge is a trending Internet thing kids are doing.

Don't hurt yourself trying to figure out if #BananaPeelChallenge is code for anything else. It isn't. It's just kids filming themselves slipping on banana peels.

Like this.

No.

Stop.

So there's this thing going around, so I decided try it too #bananapeelchallenge @lilliecrawford_ @jaasonoakes pic.twitter.com/0s7pprZG4I — Kaden Kozlowski (@Destiny_kaden) March 28, 2016

Your grandparents didn't want this life for you.

You don't need to do this.

WHERE ARE ALL THE PARENTS?!?! This dumb trend is going to wipe out a generation if we all don't stop it.
