The MTV Movie & TV Awards Nominations Are Here & 'Stranger Things' Is Set To Slay
Break out the popcorn and get ready to watch some of your favorite actors and actresses win big, because the 2018 MTV Movie and TV Awards nominations are finally here! Hosted by Tiffany Haddish, this year's awards will showcase all of pop culture's biggest moments on screen in the last year, and I, for one, am pumped. And, just like last year's awards, this year's show will once again feature gender-neutral categories, which is a historic shift for the entertainment industry (and an amazing one, I might add).
There are a number of movies and TV shows that have (unsurprisingly) been nominated in multiple categories, too. For movies, Black Panther has a whopping seven nominations, while on the TV side of things, Stranger Things scored a total of six nominations, meaning their chances of winning at LEAST one category are pretttttty good.
The MTV Movie & TV Awards will air on Monday, June 18 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT from the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles, and additional categories and honors are set to be announced at a later date.
