Sam Smith is bringing it yet again with another new song... and yeah, it appears to be as emotional as you’d expect from Smith. Is “Baby, You Make Me Crazy” about Brandon Flynn, his rumored boyfriend? Let’s check it all out and get to the bottom of this.

Smith teased the new tune on Instagram, with a snippet and the caption: “Baby, You Make Me Crazy
Track 7, The Thrill Of It All x.” The lyrics in the clip include: “Baby, you make me crazy/Why’d you have to fill my heart with sorrow?”

Answers. I need answers. Luckily, with Smith’s new album, The Thrill Of It All, coming out Nov. 3, we don't have to wait long to hear the rest of this.

As excitement builds over the album drop date, Smith himself is clearly so happy to give this musical gift to his fans, as he tweeted today: "I'm so ready for you to hear this album," adding, "Guys, I have butterflies!!!!!!! Not long now" and "Tomorrow is the day! I just can't wait for you to hear this record x." Oh god, I'm speaking for all of the fans when I say we can't wait to hear it either.

In another clip he posted on Twitter, Smith shares an interview where he’s discussing the new album, noting: “That is the beauty of my job is that these songs, I get to let them go and I can’t wait to let these songs go. I do think there are some moments on this album that could be of help to people. I think they can help some people. I hope they can.”

As for "Baby, You Make Me Crazy," it’s totally beautiful and no doubt going to be heart wrenching, with a lyric like “why’d you have to fill my heart with sorrow." Fans reacted to his Instagram post with comments like: “IM DEAD THIS JUST KILLED ME,” “SO FREAKING EXCITED!! SO proud of you," and "I can tell this is going to be my fave."

Some fans think the song could be about Flynn, based on this limited info, with one person commenting: "I think this song is for Brandon." Guess we'll have to see!

Another fan responded: "I'm really looking forward the day you release happy and bright song. Even though I like your voice on sad songs too."

It’s not all gloom though, as Smith appeared on an installment of Carpool Karaoke with James Corden and it was all out joyous, as they ran through some of Smith’s hits: “Too Good at Goodbyes,” “Lay Me Down,” "I’m Not the Only One,” “Money on My Mind,” “Pray,” and “Stay with Me.”

During the ride, Smith revealed what a huge Fifth Harmony fan he is, literally lighting up when the girl group is mentioned and noting, "When I hear them I feel free, I feel alive." He added that "’Work fromHome' I listen to every time before I go out. I think it's my wedding song... I want to walk down the aisle to it in heels.”

Smith also detailed some of his wedding plans (to Flynn? I might be getting ahead of myself, but still) and he’s got some big ideas. He explained:

I want a funeral for my single self before my wedding. I’m in a coffin and there’s all these PowerPoint presentations about my single life, like how fun it was. Everyone’s crying, and then I rise from the coffin. Everyone takes off their black clothes and they’re wearing white and the wedding begins.

OMG, brilliant.

And, oh yeah... dreams do come true, because Fifth Harmony totally piled into the car to sing “Work From Home” with Smith and Corden. Epic.

Smith’s The Thrill Of It All is out Nov. 3. Who else is beyond excited?
