Hi, hello. In case you haven't been thrust out of your quarantine boredom by a certain star's life update, let me be the bearer of good news: Gigi Hadid is expecting her first child with Zayn Malik, according to claims by multiple sources who reportedly spoke to Entertainment Tonight, TMZ, and Us Weekly. Hadid herself confirmed the news on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on April 30. If that's not the bright spot you needed during the coronavirus outbreak, I don't know what is — and these tweets about Gigi Hadid's pregnancy perfectly capture the emotional rollercoaster you're on RN.
"Gigi is pregnant and she and Zayn are so in love,” a source reportedly claimed to Us Weekly. "She always wanted to start a family with Zayn."
Hadid's mother Yolanda Hadid reportedly told Dutch broadcasting station RTL Boulevard that the family is "shocked that our little secret has been leaked to the press," and confirmed that Hadid is due in September. "I can't wait to become a grandmother," she reportedly said. "It is quite special, since I lost my own mother so recently. That is the beauty of life: one soul is leaving us and another is coming. We feel very blessed." (Elite Daily reached out to a representative for Yolanda for comment on the reported interview, but did not hear back in time for publication.)
TMZ reports the model is 20 weeks along with a baby girl, and that both families are "excited."
The couple has dated on and off since November 2015. They most recently split in January 2019 and appear to have rekindled their relationship in late 2019 or early 2020, following Hadid's relationship with Tyler Cameron.
