Cersei From 'Game Of Thrones' Just Endorsed Another Queen For The Iron Throne
Monday, the Democratic National Convention kicked off in Philadelphia with a bang. Bernie Sanders supporters were out in full force to support their man and rain boos down on Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, but once the First Lady, Michelle Obama, took the stage, there were nothing but cheers.
For the most part, everyone thought Michelle Obama's speech was on point. It served as a rallying cry when day one of the DNC was looking very divisive.
One such person who was clearly enamored with Obama's speech was none other than "Game of Thrones'" ruler of the Iron Throne, Cersei of the House Lannister, first of her name, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms.
Cersei's ringing endorsement of Michelle Obama came after Irish actress Victoria Smurfit suggested we move straight to crowning Michelle Obama President of the United States.
I know we all think Daenerys Targaryen is going to conquer Westeros and sit on the Iron Throne soon enough, but if Cersei Lannister can align herself with Michelle Obama before the assumed invasion of King's Landing takes place, well, Cersei might just have a fighting chance.
