One Of Your Favorite Hummus Brands Is On Recall, So Check Your Fridge ASAP

Hummus is such a healthy snack that I don't feel bad eating an entire bag of pretzels when I use it as a dip.

What?! It's chick peas and garlic! I am so health-conscious.

So, imagine my surprise, as I was dunking an entire pepperoni stick into a tub of hummus to turn it into a healthy snack, when I learned my favorite hummus may be hiding LISTERIA.

Sabra Dipping Co. is recalling some of its hummus because of the possible listeria contamination. The hummus they are voluntarily recalling was made before November 8.

Listeria is a food-borne illness. It causes nausea, fevers, abdominal pain and... most embarrassingly of all, diarrhea.

The US Food And Drug Administration said that listeria was found in a manufacturing facility, but wasn't found in finished products that were tested.

I've always been a bit of a gambler -- I'll continue eating this hummus as I finish this post.

If you're in the US or Canada, your product may be contaminated. Go to your fridge RIGHT NOW, and see if it has a "Best Before" date through January 23, 2017.

The FDA is saying we should throw away our beautiful, beautiful snack like we're all made of money.

Products that are not included in the recall are Sabra Organic Hummus, Sabra Salsa, Sabra Guacamole and Sabra Greek Yogurt Dips.

You should absolutely toss the products that may be contaminated if you have a weak immune system, are old, pregnant or a very young child -- as listeria could be fatal.

Also, if you are a very young child, what are you doing here? Do you have your parents' permission to be on this website?

We cover some wild stories, like one about a woman's boyfriend who encouraged her to be intimate with a dog, one about how men and women orgasm different and another one informing you how to maintain your finances on Black Friday.

Finances are very adult...
