Once upon a time, a mother and daughter were walking around a parking lot.
The mother was filming the daughter, who was very young and adorable and, therefore, had a sh*tty brain, and the mother thought the toddler's sh*tty brain was cute and needed to be documented.
What this videographer mother did not expect, however, was that she would unexpectedly capture the true face of terror.
The mother watched this toddler make a terrible discovery. In a quiet moment of self-reflection, the girl looked down at the ground and saw... with sudden horror... her shadow.
A two-dimensional creature followed her wherever she went. And there was nothing she could do to stop it. She screamed and wailed, but the shadow would never, ever stop stalking her.
She'd just have to learn to live with it. As we all do.
