Well, we can officially stop pretending we don't know whether or not Eleven will be back in season two of "Stranger Things"!
On Friday, the Netflix original hit series "Stranger Things" shared a production photo of the cast doing a reading. A secret message was hidden in the photo.
The photo and text are upside-down (Get it? THE UPSIDE-DOWN?), but the text reads,
Now, it's kind of hard to tell... but if you look closely, that's definitely 12-year-old actress Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, sitting it in the middle.
And if you don't want to look that closely, just look at the right-side-up version of the photo posted by Finn Wolfhard, the actor who plays Mike.
And if you're still not sure, check out the hashtag Mike gave the photo,
So I think it's safe to say Eleven is officially coming back for season two.
Of course, let's be real: We were all pretty sure she would be back, despite the creators attempts to keep it ambiguous until now.
I mean, yes, it did kind of look like the Demogorgon got Eleven pretty good at the end of season one.
But then we had the waffles of hope Hopper left out in the woods!
And what's more, the actor who played Hopper implied he and Eleven will have more of a father-daughter dynamic in season two.
So yes, we knew Eleven would be back, but it's still nice to have it confirmed.
Let the season two theories begin!
Last week, Netflix teased season two with a fictional archival newscast, "Minute By Minute," focused on the missing (and much lamented) Barb.
We also know there will be a new kid added to gang next year, played by 14-year-old actress Sadie Sink.
Personally, I'm hoping for new girl and Eleven to become BFFs. Eleven could use some female friends on her level. (No shade to Winona Ryder, but she seems a little too preoccupied for girl talk at the moment.)
We'll have to wait and see! Season two of "Stranger Things" is set to premiere in 2017.
