Selena Gomez And Taylor Swift Are Going Head To Head For This Award

If you love award shows as much as I do, then get pumped for the Billboard Music Awards this May.

The official list of nominees for the BBMAs was just posted, so now we can see which talented artists are up for the big awards.

It looks like Justin Bieber, Adele, The Weeknd and Drake are competing in a few categories, so that should be pretty exciting.

What I'm most looking forward to, however, is seeing Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift battle it out for "Top Female Artist." That's right, the ladies are going head to head for the same award.

This isn't the first time celebrity BFFs had to compete for the prize. At the Golden Globes this past January, Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence were both up for "Best Actress in a Motion Picture -- Comedy or Musical." J Law took home the trophy, but Schumer was a great sport about it and the two are still friends. Thank goodness.

So, will things still stay civil between Selena and Taylor? The two are also up against Adele, Ariana Grande and Rihanna, so the competition is definitely intense.

I guess we'll have to wait 'til May to see what goes down. To be honest, my money is on Adele. "Hello" changed my goddamn life.
