'Gilmore Girls' Released 4 New Posters And They're All Super Awkward

Netflix

Look, I am BEYOND excited for the new "Gilmore Girls" revival this Thanksgiving.

Seriously, ask my copy editors. All my posts about it are like 90 percent exclamation points.

So when Netflix released four new posters today for "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life," I tried to be supportive. I tried to "YAAAS" and "OMG" them.

But I can't, you guys. Because these posters are really awkward. Like, really, really awkward.

Each poster is a different season of the year, which corresponds to the four 90-minute episodes that will make up "A Year in the Life."

The names of the four episodes are "Winter," "Spring," "Summer" and "Fall."

So let's take a look at these posters, shall we?

1. "Winter."

Netflix

This poster is easily the best of the four, and yet it still oozes awkwardness.

The photoshop on their faces is way too much, in all of them. The "winter magic" vibe in this one slightly masks that, but it's still weird.

Just let Lauren Graham have wrinkles! I promise it will be fine!

Also, Alexis Bledel is not the best at pretending it's snowing when it's not. Her expression says,

This crazy lady next to me thinks it's snowing, and I'm just going to play along so as not to upset her.

2. "Spring."

Netflix

Oof. This is a bad one.

Why, oh why, is Alexis Bledel holding her bouquet of flowers that way? That is not the way you hold flowers.

That is the way you hold a newborn child, or your cellphone when it starts to rain outside.

Also, Lorelai's expression makes her look like she is up to something brilliantly evil... like picking flowers.

3. "Summer."

Netflix

Once again, Rory, why must you hold things this way?

That's not how you hold a flag! That's how you hold a single strand of hair that you pluck out of your salad from Just Salad!

Note: This is almost as bad as the way Rory held her coffee cup in the last poster, as fans on Twitter were quick to point out.

4. "Fall."

Netflix

This one is almost fine, except I can't figure out how Rory is standing. How is she both turned to the side and facing forward?

I don't like it, and I don't trust it.

Rory and Lorelai, I love you so, so much. I'm obviously going to watch the crap out of your four-episode revival on November 25.

But these posters are awkward AF, and that's just the truth.

Here's to hoping the revival is nowhere near this awkward! Based on the teaser clip, I really don't think it will be.
