We Remixed Ed Sheeran's Lyrics With 'Game Of Thrones' Lines Just Because
At the moment, it appears we're gearing up for this to be the summer of Ed Sheeran and "Game of Thrones."
Last week, we learned season seven of "Game of Thrones" will premiere July 16 on HBO.
Sunday, we learned Ed Sheeran will reportedly have a cameo role in the seventh season of "GoT."
HBO showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss broke the news about Sheeran's appearance in Westeros during a Q&A session at a SXSW panel moderated by Arya Stark, Maisie Williams, and Sansa Stark, Sophie Turner.
Speaking on the 26-year-old's upcoming stint on "Game of Thrones," Benioff said,
For years, we tried to get Ed Sheeran on the show to surprise Maisie, and this year we finally did it.
Whatever Maisie Williams wants, Maisie Williams gets, right?
In any event, I think it's pretty cool Ed Sheeran is bringing his talents to the set of "Game of Thrones."
I mean, no disrespect, but the dude kind of looks like he would fit right in at Mole's Town or among the Wildlings, no?
