WHERE. DID. THOR'S. HAIR. GO?!
Seriously, I think we're all collectively freaking out right now after seeing the new photos from "Thor: Ragnarok," in which everyone's favorite Norse god-turned-superhero is not rocking his usual flowing locks of golden hair.
Thor's thing has always been his long, luxurious blonde hair, but the new photos Entertainment Weekly shared from the third installment of the film franchise show Chris Hemsworth with barely any hair at all!
Is this even Thor!?!?!?
It just doesn't even look like Thor anymore...
I'm not the only one reeling from this haircut heard 'round the world. Marvel fans are taking to Twitter to mourn the loss of Thor's golden locks.
Chris Hemsworth briefly addressed the major hair change in his cover story for Entertainment Weekly, saying it felt like a rebirth for both the character and himself.
That's great, Chris, I'm glad you're feeling reborn and all, but that's not going to stop me from wanting to dump a full canister of Rogaine on your head.
But some fans have pointed out a short-haired Thor does have some precedence in the comic books.
And all hope of seeing Thor with long hair again may not be lost!
A few fans pointed out we've already seen some behind-the-scenes photos of Hemsworth wearing his classic Thor wig over the past year.
Plus, apparently some early sketches showed Thor with his usual long locks.
It sounds to me like Thor's going to start off the movie with his flowing, majestic mane, but it will be tragically cut off at some point in the film. If that's the case, I already know when I'll be crying at this movie.
Blanchett (who plays goddess of death Hela) is giving me full goth alien realness!
And Jeff Goldblum (who plays the hedonistic, gambling Grandmaster) is serving up "Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century" having a run-in with a Kylie Lip Kit.
Hopefully these two characters will be enough to make up for the extreme lack of hair in this movie!
