"I'm not in love with Khloé Kardashian," is an example of a white lie I'd say to anyone I'm dating.
We reported earlier how Khloé has been getting up close ("Khlo-se," more like it) and very personal with her new beau, Tristan Thompson, but that doesn't mean she's ready to take a polygraph for him.
In a column posted to her website, the reality star said that sometimes telling a white lie is absolutely necessary, especially if the truth could potentially hurt the person you're telling.
A modern-day sage, Khloé wisely wrote,
Sometimes you've gotta keep your thoughts to yourself! Honesty is always the best policy when it comes to relationships. But there are some scenarios when telling the truth could really hurt someone you're dating.
YOU WANT THE TRUTH, TRISTAN?
Of course, this doesn't mean Khloé wants to be put in a situation where the ex of the person she's dating is in the room, and no one has uttered a word to her about it. She added,
I don't ask this question but I would expect him to tell me if I'm in a room with someone he used to hook up with. I don't need to know if you've slept with 50 people. I'm not going to lie about this one, I just don't think it's a necessary conversation.
So, yeah, no bragging about the four score and seven babes you've previously banged when you're dating Khloé, K? Please tell me your taking notes, Tristan.
But if you're playing the field, you should always let the other person know, according to the 32-year-old. And if you're playing the field with the Dodgers, you probably don't need any dating advice.
Khloé Kardashian went on to say,
You should definitely say something. I don't want someone coming after me because I'm dating 2 people, LOL!!! 100% you have to be honest here.
Honesty is truly the best policy (most of the time).
