Jessica Biel Reveals The Moment She Knew She Would Marry Justin Timberlake
Jessica Biel knows there was a moment when she realized she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Justin Timberlake.
She just can't for the life of her remember what it is.
It's not the most romantic story I've ever heard about a celebrity couple, but it is the least romantic story I've ever heard about a celebrity couple.
The 34-year-old actress told her terrible, nothing story on "The Late Late Show" with James Corden on Thursday.
I have this email that's really funny that I sent to my producer partner, Michelle. And it literally is like, 'OK, I can't make that, so we'll have to cancel. Also, I know I'm going to marry this man, you can't tell anybody but your husband.'
The funniest thing about that email, in my opinion, is how no one laughs excepts James Corden.
But, undeterred, Jessica presses forward.
We have this email, and she was like, 'What was this day?' I have no idea. I have no idea why I wrote that email. I don't know what he did that day. But I have this hilarious email!
Again, the anecdote of a "hilarious email" was met with confused silence from the audience, who were still patiently waiting for the punchline and/or point of the story.
Luckily, James Corden, a trained comedian, brought the crowd back with a "Rock Your Body" joke.
Look, I don't blame Jessica Biel for not being a comedian. She is good at a lot of other things! Like reciting Kanye West lyrics in the style of a soap opera!
And for the record, I know Jessica Biel does not give one single shit about opinion on her late night story telling abilities, nor should she. Girl is hella rich and been married to Justin Timberlake for five years.
But just so you all know, a story that you can't remember is not really an entertaining story.
In other news, Bryan Cranston's story about meeting his wife is pretty good, and the reenactment with James Corden is even better.
Now THAT'S a story!
