Jenny Slate Gushing Over Ex-BF Chris Evans Will Make You Smile, Then Sob
There hasn't been a pair of exes in the history of the universe that have been friendlier than Jenny Slate and Chris Evans. It honestly feels like they're even more lovey-dovey now than they were when they were dating!
Since their breakup two months ago, both Jenny and Chris haven't stopped gushing about how much they still love each other, even though their relationship has ended. And now Jenny is singing her ex's praises again, talking about how beautiful Chris is "inside and out" in a People video clip.
Jenny talks about the loving bond the cast of her and Chris's new movie, "Gifted," formed while filming, and then gets more specific about the special bond between her and Chris.
We all love each other so much, and it's a really real love. I mean, I have gone on and on about how beautiful Chris is. He is, inside and out.
Awww. Then get back together with him! You guys were perfect! UGHHH!!!
I really don't get why Jenny and Chris broke up if they keep saying how much they love each other. A few weeks ago, Jenny said that Chris is "one of the kindest people [she's] ever met," and Chris returned the compliment big time by saying that Jenny is his "favorite human."
They even used the same language when describing each other. Like, seriously — read how Jenny described Chris to Vulture after the breakup:
He's like primary colors. He has beautiful, big, strong emotions, and he's really sure of them. It's just wonderful to be around. His heart is probably golden-colored, if you could paint it.
Super sweet, and also a lot of color imagery, right? Well, Chris picked up on the colors in his relationship with Jenny as well. This is how he spoke about her with People:
It's like an art form talking with her, because the visuals associated with her expression are just so colorful. She's so vulnerable, so honest, so interested in other people more than herself.
It's like the exact same person talking! OK, I know I'm reading a lot into this, but c'mon — the fact that they both used colors to describe one another in separate interviews? Meant to be!
Unfortunately, we probably won't be seeing Chris and Jenny together again IRL, but fans can still see them romance each other on the big screen in their new movie "Gifted."
