Drake Bell's Insensitive Comment About Caitlyn Jenner Made People Angry

Yesterday, Caitlyn Jenner revealed herself to the world, and most people praised her for her bravery and courage.

But some, like former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell, weren't as open and accepting.

Bell sent out a rather insensitive tweet after hearing the news about Caitlyn.

He since deleted the tweet, but here is a screenshot of it:

Bell's unwillingness to call Caitlyn by her chosen name didn't sit well with the denizens of Twitter.

And after being bombarded by criticism, Bell attempted to qualify his statement.

He wrote,

I'm not dissing him! I just don't want to forget his legacy! He is the greatest athlete of all time! Chill out!

But, people weren't buying it.
