John Legend's Mother's Day Instagram To Chrissy Teigen Will Make You Swoon

As per usual, our hearts are melting when it comes to John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.

On Mother's Day, the Grammy-awarding artist took to Instagram to post a thoughtful message to his wife.

He wrote, "Happy Mother's Day to my wonderful wife. Luna is so fortunate to have a mom that loves her so deeply and brings her so much joy."

Way to hit us right in the feels, you guys! We can't take it.

No surprise, Chrissy looks flawless in a long white skirt and white top while carrying baby Lu, who's also in white. The picture was taken in an equally flawless garden.

Though a peek at Instagram might lead people to believe everything is peachy keen for the two parents, Chrissy is not one to shy away from hardships she experienced.

In an open letter to Glamour earlier this year, Chrissy revealed what it's like to go through postpartum depression.

She wrote,

I couldn't figure out why I was so unhappy. I blamed it on being tired and possibly growing out of the role: 'Maybe I'm just not a goofy person anymore. Maybe I'm just supposed to be a mom.'

While most people shy away from the topic — and even believe it to be taboo out of fear of being considered a bad parent — Chrissy faced it head on.

Naturally standing by her side, John commended her in an interview with E!, once again causing us to fall in love.

The singer said,

A lot of people don't want to talk about it. A lot of people feel alone when they're going through it and for her to let people know that they're not alone, I think was really powerful.

So while the couple does post fun and beautiful photos on social media, it's nice to see that they're not putting on a front when it comes to the less-glamorous things they face.

They're open, honest and devoted parents — definitely cause for celebration.
