Following Chrissy Teigen on Twitter is a great way to familiarize yourself with her witty humor.

When the 30-year-old model spoke out regarding Amber Heard donating her $7 million settlement from her divorce with Johnny Depp, Twitter users misinterpreted the message Chrissy was trying to send.

While many people thought she was attacking Heard, Chrissy was actually defending her against the ongoing gold digger allegations accusing Amber of donating her settlement to charity solely to prove she isn't a gold digger.

Chrissy Teigen's hilarious tweets are typically filled with sarcasm, wit, and dark humor -- but some people didn't pick up on it when she tweeted this.

In response to a video posted by Dish Nation in support of Heard, Chrissy jokingly tweeted about how Amber Heard is to be considered "the Robin Hood of gold diggers" after donating her $7 million divorce settlement.

Chrissy's tweet was merely a jab at all of the people calling Amber Heard a gold digger in the first place (duh).

Here's the video that sparked the conversation. The segment about Amber Heard starts at the 4:50 mark.

It turns out both Dish Nation and Chrissy were misunderstood.

The proof? People LOST IT on Twitter.

They totally missed the point.

Sure, on first read it sounds a bit anti-Amber, but read carefully.

They just don't get it, do they?

A few people even "expected better" from Chrissy.

Um, yeah. It's safe to say A LOT of people misinterpreted Chrissy's initial tweet. Come on, people.

Her response? She's used to it by now.

Even her fans are used to it!

The lesson we all learned here is actually quite simple -- Chrissy Teigen was actually DEFENDING Amber Heard against the gold digger allegations regarding her $7 million divorce settlement from Johnny Depp.

On top of that, we learned about perhaps something more people need to be able to detect: sarcasm.
