Brody Jenner's relationship to stepsister Kim Kardashian may best be characterized by the weird power move he pulled when he attended Kim's ex Reggie Bush's wedding after not attending Kim and Kanye's wedding in Italy.
Regardless of past sibling drama, Brody told Us Weekly he reached out to Kim following the armed robbery in Paris earlier this month that shook her sense of security and robbed her of around $10 million worth of belongings.
The DJ said,
I don't want to get too much into it, but I'll say I haven't talked to Kim; I've texted her to show my support and let her know I'm thinking of her. Other than that, I haven't spoken to her… I wish her all the best, I really do.
Kimmy's been taking time off social media while laying low in LA, but the reality star may have to head back to Paris at some point in the near future to aid police in their investigation.
Her lawyer, Jean Veil, told the site,
She is very calm and very determined over a matter that was particularly violent… If she is summoned to France, she will come to France.
Though Brody admits he has “no idea what's going on” in regards to Kim's day-to-day life following the incident, he's ultimately supported Kim even through their spats.
Of the 2014 wedding drama, Brody told PEOPLE,
Not going to Kim's wedding was not me trying to diss her and Kanye... They didn't want to let people know about their wedding early in advance, and I had already booked gigs in Chicago and some other places, so I was already working... I'm her brother... The only opinion that matters in this situation is Kim's, and me and her are good… She is incredible.
Sweet, effusive and, at times, vague almost to the point of utter nonsense: That's love.
