Billie Lourd and Taylor Lautner have reportedly called it quits. According to People Magazine, the two have ended their relationship after eight months together.

According to other outlets, however, the couple was only together for seven months. Elite Daily reached out to the teams of Lourd and Lautner for comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication.

This news came as a huge shock – they seemed so happy. Their relationship got a lot of attention after Lourd's mother, Carrie Fisher, and grandmother, Debbie Reynolds, tragically died.

Lautner seemed so supportive and loving.

Back in December, 25-year-old Lautner posted the sweet picture on his Instagram with the caption, "This girl is one of the strongest, most fearless individuals I've ever met. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. I'm lucky to know you @praisethelourd .. [heart emoji], me"

Ugh, why is love dead and everything terrible?

Literally, not even a month ago Lourd's uncle, Todd Fisher, sat down with E! News and gushed about her relationship with Lautner. He said,

The truth of the matter is, the guy is pretty spectacular. He's a really deep person, and he has supported her amazingly. He's stepped up and acted like a husband would act. Not that that's what's going on, but it's just an amazing support system for her, and I'm glad he's in her life. That's not easy for me to say, if you think about it.

So, what? Taylor Lautner just goes from husband material to ex-boyfriend?

Supposedly, questions were raised when Lautner was seen partying at Bootsy Bellows in Los Angeles without Lourd on the Fourth of July.

A source told People,

They aren't together anymore but they are still friendly. She's really focused on her work right now.

While my heart is breaking for the couple, I understand why the Scream Queens actress would want to focus on her career. She's starring alongside Emma Roberts in the upcoming movie, Billionaire Boys Club, and has other projects in the mix. I'm sure Lautner will be just fine, too.

Wishing these two the absolute best, and if it's meant to be, their paths will cross again. *Sniff*
