Gilt Groupe’s Newest App Feature

One of the biggest online retailers, Gilt Groupe, is changing the online shopping game. Ever purchased a pair of sunglasses online, only to be disappointed by the outcome? This app will prevent that.

Gilt Groupe will be launching an “On the Go” iPhone app. A mobile online shopping app, with a cool new feature called “Try it On”. This feature will allow you to take a picture of yourself, and “try on” the pair of sunglasses you’re thinking of purchasing.

How cool is this? I can’t wait for this feature to be available at every online retailer for not only eyewear, but clothing as well.
