Disgusting: Men Harass And Try Undressing Blonde Woman In Tight Pink Shirt At Cairo University (Video)

Sexual harassment and assault is notoriously bad (and always unacceptable) on college campuses, but this Cairo university is taking things to a whole new level of horrible.

When one blonde woman walked across campus in a tight pink long-sleeved shirt and fitted black jeans, she was subjected to an unbelievable amount of attention from the male student body — many of whom started following her, catcalling at her, and even attempting to rip off her clothes.

A video taken of this woman's walk shows that a crowd of male students simply wouldn't leave her alone and their interest in her reached violent and excessive levels of aggression.

Although University Dean Gaber Nassar said he didn't condone the incident and the men's behavior, he did send out some mixed messages to campus' women, stating that the student's outfit led to the harassment, which sounds a bit like blaming the victim to us.

"This girl entered the university wearing an abaya (loose cloak) and then took it off in the faculty, and appeared with those clothes, that caused, in reality… the incident... The student's mistake does not justify what the (other) students did."

Although appalling that this outward attack occurred in a supposedly safe place of higher learning, it unfortunately doesn't seem too out of place in today's Cairo; according to a UN Women study, 99.3 percent of women in Egypt have been sexually harassed in one form or another.
