Pumpkin Spice Margarita

I have a confession to make. I’m completely addicted to coffee. At a minimum I’ll drink around 60 ounces of coffee a day and that’s not an exaggeration. Last week, America celebrated “National Coffee Day”, which gave me an idea.

Everyone loves a good cocktail, and everyone loves coffee, right? Well maybe not everyone, but everyone should. For those of you who love a good cocktail and coffee, I’ve decided to feature one coffee inspired cocktail everyday this week, because to me, everyday is National Coffee Day.

In honor of the start of my coffee cocktail week and the first of October, I’ve chosen my first recipe to be a pumpkin spice margarita:

¼ c. Sauza Blue Silver Tequila

½ c. cream

2 tbsp. pumpkin spice syrup

2 tbsp. sugar

1 tbsp. vanilla extract

1 tsp. cinnamon

½ tsp. pumpkin pie spice

1½ c. hot coffee

Garnish: whipped cream and cinnamon

Combine cream, pumpkin spice syrup, sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice in a cup and stir. Pour into coffee and add tequila. Garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon.

This delectable drink recipe makes enough for two, so feel free to celebrate the start of October with a friend.
