I wonder what prompted this decision. Nicki Minaj has finally realized that she needed a makeover and has taken action. The singer has reportedly fired her stylist, hairdresser and makeup artist.
The real reason behind this? It seems as if Nicki is desperately trying ot be taken seriously as an artist, and her Barbie meets Lady Gaga style just wasn’t cutting it. Personally, I think that this was a great decision.
I miss Nicki’s early music days, where she was more urban than fantasy. She’s overdone it now and I feel as if she was trying to hard to be the hip hop equivalent to Lady Gaga.
