Despite women's progress for gaining equal rights as men, gender inequality is still prevalent in every society. Women continue to make less money, encounter difficulty in accessing education, and are subjected to more violence than are our male counterparts.

To draw attention to this global problem, UN Women, a branch of the U.N. that focuses on women's issues, has created an interesting advertising campaign that uses the Google search engine to highlight the most popular search terms in conjunction with women.

The ads depict the results of real searches, showing that sexist attitudes are a worldwide problem.
