One woman's magazine in Australia chose an unconventional, but clearly very deserving, face to be their cover model.

While we might have come to expect skinny celebrities or too-perfect-to-be-real models to grace the pages of fashion and lifestyle mags, the Australian Women's Weekly decided to balk that trend, and put a truly inspirational woman on their cover.

Although 26-year-old Turia Pitt has burns covering the majority of her body, including her face, she's featured on the magazine's July cover — not just because she's beautiful, but because she has a truly empowering message that she now shares with the world as an inspirational speaker.

Turia couldn't look any better on the cover because she exudes confidence and happiness and she echoed the sentiment that being content with oneself is really what projects beauty.

Being on the cover of The Australian Women's Weekly is a huge honor. I feel very humbled. For me, it sends the message that confidence equals beauty. There are a lot of women out there who are so beautiful but don't have the confidence, and that's what gets you over the line.

Kudos to Australian Women's Weekly for not just letting such a powerful story get lost in the pages of the magazine, but for parading Pitt's strength on the cover for all to see and admire.
